Mining lighting maintenance, fault-finding and changeovers

ALL LED Direct supplies mining lighting, spares and LED changeovers, and helps with the design. We work directly with your site's own electricians, the people already approved to be on site.

Fault-finding and changeovers

We work through faults on floods, work lights and building lighting with your electricians, and provide:

  • Fault lists for the fittings involved
  • Like-for-like or LED swap recommendations
  • Re-aim guidance for floods that have been knocked or no longer cover the area
  • A fit check when the site layout changes

Documentation, spares and freight

Datasheets, lighting layouts and installation notes come with the fittings we supply. We also supply spares and freight to site.

DALI fault monitoring

For ROM pad and stockpile floods, workshops and site buildings, we offer DALI lighting control design, supply, programming and commissioning, working directly with your site's own electricians.

  • Fittings that fail or need repair raise a notification, so nobody has to find them on a walk-round.
  • Emergency lighting tests run automatically and the results are logged, for your records or AS 2293 reporting, without routine manual checks.

On ROM pads and stockpiles, see ROM and stockpile flood lights.

Where we work

We supply Australia-wide and work directly with site electricians by phone, email and drawings, so nothing waits on a contractor getting site approval.

Replace or repair

Where the same halogen or metal halide lamps keep failing, an LED changeover usually means fewer lamp changes and less heat at the fitting. We can put a running-cost comparison together on the actual fittings and hours.

For a new layout rather than a straight swap, see lighting design and our services.

Lighting plants for hire

Our mine-spec LED lighting plants are available for hire or purchase. See the hire datasheet and the purchase datasheet.

Hazardous areas

None of the standard mining fittings we supply are explosion-proof. For classified areas, see our hazardous-location lighting range.

FAQs

Who fits the lights?

Your site's own electricians. We work directly with them.

Can DALI flag failed fittings and log emergency lighting tests?

Yes. On ROM pad and stockpile floods, workshops and site buildings, a DALI system flags fittings that need repair, and runs and logs emergency lighting tests for your records or AS 2293 reporting.

Do you supply mine sites outside Queensland?

Yes. We supply Australia-wide and work with site electricians by phone, email and drawings.

Is the standard mining range explosion-proof?

No. Classified areas need fittings rated for the zone. See our hazardous-location lighting range.
