Collection: Industrial · Push Buttons & Selector Switches

Push buttons and selector switches are modular. You pick the head (the bit you see on the panel), the contact blocks behind it (normally open, normally closed or both), and the collar or coupling plate that holds them together. We stock Schneider 22 mm heads and contact blocks, NHP 22.5 mm push buttons and selectors, and a few Eaton and Dore options.

For a selector, decide on 2 or 3 positions, stay-put or spring return, and keyed or not. For a push button, pick the colour, any legend (START and STOP are common), flush or extended, and illuminated or not. Stick to one brand for the head, collar and contacts, because parts don't always swap between brands.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between a stay-put and spring-return selector switch?

A stay-put (maintained) selector stays where you turn it. A spring-return selector goes back to its rest position when you let go. Each product title says which type it is.

Do push button heads come with contact blocks?

Not always. Some listings are the head only (or 'without base') and others include a contact block, like '1 x N/O contact', so check the title. Spare N/O and N/C contact blocks are sold separately in this collection.

Where can I find industrial toggle switches?

In our industrial toggle switches collection. Right now that's 15 A on-off SPST toggles.

Do you sell emergency stop control stations and legends?

Yes. Emergency stop mushroom heads, control stations and legend plates are in our emergency stop equipment collection.
