Lighting plants (hire) datasheet

Our mine-spec LED lighting plants are available for hire for temporary or contract lighting on site. Each plant runs ten 300 W low-glare LED lamps for a total of 352,000 lumens, powered by a Perkins engine.
The lamps run on 48 V DC extra-low voltage, which means auto electricians can work on them. The 270 litre tank runs about three weeks between refuels at 12 hours a night. A dusk-to-dawn timer starts and stops the plant automatically, the lamps have instant-on hot restart and are rated for 20,000 hours, and GPS tracking is included.
Plants come in dual-axle and single-axle versions with all-terrain tyres and push-down hydraulic stabilisers. They're mine spec and ready to use, with a flashing beacon, fire extinguisher and wheel chocks, and high-vis numbering in any combination. They can be towed with a suitable 4WD, SUV or small truck.
Hire is on a 3-year contract with a monthly payment option, and free service kits (oils, filters and 5 litres of oil) are supplied at 500 hours. Freight from Bundaberg and back at the end of the contract is extra, as is registration if needed.

Hazardous areas
This lighting plant isn't explosion-proof. If it's going into a hazardous area, tell us the zone and the gas or dust group and we'll recommend a certified option. Our hazardous-area lighting page has more on that range.
