Where floods sit on site
ROM pads, stockpiles, tip heads and open yards. Some sites want fixed building or pole floods. Others need portable cover that moves with the pad. Say which. Dirt, vibration and access for maintenance all matter when we pick fittings from the mining range.

Floods vs lighting plants
Fixed floods suit areas that stay lit for a long stretch. A lighting plant suits temporary pads, shut-downs, or spots you move often. Not explosion-proof on the standard range
Standard ROM and stockpile floods in this range aren't explosion-proof. Classified areas need the zone and the gas or dust group in the brief. We'll route those to the Ex path.

FAQs
Should I chase the highest lumen number?
Not on its own. Height and throw usually matter more. Send both and we'll match options that fit the pad, not just the biggest catalogue figure.
Mains or generator?
Either can work. Say what power you have on the pad. If you're not sure, say that too.
When is a lighting plant better than fixed floods?
When the area moves, the job is short, or you need light before fixed poles go in. See the lighting plants page, or ask in the same email.
Are these explosion-proof?
Standard range isn't. Send zone + gas or dust group for classified areas.
