What to send for an Ex / hazardous quote

Put enough in the email that we can match the right THT option or say honestly when we need more paperwork:

  • Zone (and whether gas or dust)
  • Gas group or dust group if known
  • Mounting height and area to light
  • Voltage / supply
  • Indoor, outdoor, or both
  • Any site standard or fitting type you already use
  • Quantity and timing

If certificates or approval docs are required before purchase, say so up front. We only quote against certs that exist on the product or supporting docs — we will not invent IECEx, ATEX or zone markings.

How this sits next to standard mining lighting

Use the standard mining lighting hub and mining products collection when the area is not classified: vehicle and plant work lights, ROM and stockpile floods, lighting plants, Guardian / Safe Zone, solar flashers and ID displays. Use this THT page and the THT collection when the area is hazardous-location or explosion-proof. Mixing the two in one brief without the zone usually slows the quote.

Is the standard mining range explosion-proof?
No. Standard work lights, floods and plants on the mining hub are not explosion-proof. Classified areas use this THT path.

Will you quote Ex from a photo alone?
Not with invented certificates. Send zone and gas or dust group. If a specific cert number is required, we only use what is on the product docs.

Can I browse fittings before I email?
Yes. Open the THT collection, note the handles you care about, then email info@alledirect.com with zone + those SKUs.

Do you install as well as supply?
Where install is part of the job we can discuss it with the brief. Hazardous-area work still needs the classification details first.
