Eimco rope datasheet
This is replacement rope for Eimco chock winches. It's 44 mm in diameter and 12 m long, with a thimble at one end.
The rope is made by Hampidjan from Prima UHMwPE fibres manufactured by DSM. The fibres are slightly heat-set and pre-stretched, which gives higher break loads than a conventional UHMwPE rope. During manufacture the yarns are coated in polyurethane before stranding and braiding, so every fibre is well coated for abrasion resistance.
Hazardous areas
This product isn't explosion-proof or certified for hazardous areas. If you need it for a classified zone, tell us the zone and the gas or dust group and we'll check what's suitable.
