Chip deflection datasheet
Our chip deflection cones and curtains keep drill cuttings away from the collar during blast-hole drilling. The cone seals firmly around the drill rod, and cuttings coming up out of the hole hit it and bounce off at an angle, clear of the collar.
A cleaner collar means less fall-back and regrinding. The cone also helps cut down dust, increases bit life and reduces how much you rely on water. On angled holes the curtain does a better job than the cone. The cone is made from cut- and tear-resistant polyurethane and fits with a simple chain mounting system, so it's quick to replace. Both are made to order in any size and colour.

This product isn't explosion-proof or certified for hazardous areas. If you need it for a classified zone, tell us the zone and the gas or dust group and we'll check what's suitable.
