Cable slings datasheet
These non-conductive cable slings are for handling high-voltage trailing cable on shovels and draglines. They're spread along the cable at 30 metre intervals to take the strain safely when the cable is moved behind a cable boat or tractor.
Each sling is 2500 mm long with a 1 tonne breaking strength, made in high-visibility colours and light to handle. They're a more cost-effective option than aluminium half-moons, and other breaking strengths can be made to order. Note the 1 tonne figure is breaking strength, not a working load limit.
Hazardous areas
This product isn't explosion-proof or certified for hazardous areas. If you need it for a classified zone, tell us the zone and the gas or dust group and we'll check what's suitable.
