The Clipsal C2000 Series Cooker Switches now feature a Clipsal rocker style switch mechanism with a 45A load rating, the highest on the Australian and New Zealand markets. According to legislation, a cooker switch needs to be installed within two metres of an electrical appliance and marked with the type of appliance it is operating. Now our switch mechanisms are conveniently marked COOKER to cover all applications. The rocker style switch mechanism gives this new cooker switch a much more stylish appearance and ensures that it blends well with other Clipsal C2000 Series switches. It also has generously sized terminals. The perfect companion for Clipsal Cooker Switches are the socket and plug/lead products (2031VCS, 31VCS and 800CL). Together, they deny cooking equipment to be installed just before the new owners arrive, to prevent damage or theft while building and decorating are still in progress.
