Remove loose rust and flaking paint with a wire brush, scraper or mechanical sander. For best results, always remove rust back to bare metal. For superior protection and adhesion on mild steel surfaces and welds it is recommended to prime with Grey Zinc and allowing it to dry for 4-6 hours before applying 2 coats of Silver Zinc.
